Ingredients:
- 2 cups of rice
- 2 cups of water
- 1/2 cup of diced oions
- 1 1/2 tomatoe sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon of caldo de tomate
- 1 tablspoon Minced garlic
- 1/4 tablespoon of salt
- 1/2 tablespoom of pepper
Tip: do not use non stick pan for this recipe.
Instructions:
Step 1 - Heat pan to medium heat ane ass 2 tablspons of olive oil heat.
Step 2 - Heat a pan to medium heat then add olive oil.
Step 3 - Sautte onions and rice unit rice is dark drown.(about 6 to 8 ins)
Step 4 - add water, tomatoes sauce, caldo de tomate and garlic then stir.
Step 5 - Add green beans to the pan sauteeing min.
Step 6 - Fill pan with water till it is even with the green beans and sausage then bring to a boil.
Step 7 - Add a lid and reduce heat to med/low once boiling. Cook untill the water has cooked out. This should be about 45 mins,
Note: Salt and pepper to taste after water is mostly gone stirring the last two minutes.
